This course is suitable for those with STPM or 'A' Levels or its equivalent and those who have completed the Associate Diploma in Business Studies.
Alternatively, those aged minimum 21 with some work experience may be accepted onto this programme.
This course aims to produce an all round executive who would be able to handle the general business areas as well as display the abilities of a young executive in a corporate organisation.
At the end of the course, you will be able to keep a proper set of accounts, track the flow of funds and keep costs in check to ensure that your organisation enjoys higher profitability. You will know our basic legal rights and be able to help protect the firm's properties, including its personnel.
Students will understand how all the various departments function and how they should coordinate with each other to achieve the firm's objectives.
You will begin to improve certain areas at your workplace by applying some of the new management techniques which you have learned. You will be working closely with colleagues to try and achieve higher targets. You will also become more sensitive to the needs of your subordinates and peers. You will be able to use your newly acquired skills to lead and motivate your team to ensure that they provide their best performance to achieve the organisation's objectives.
You will learn how to effectively represent the customers' needs and find means of providing them with efficient service. You will know how to develop a marketing plan to achieve a higher turnover.
Your decision making skills will be sharper and you will be able to solve some major problems through the use of statistical tools.
All in all, you will have have benefited from this course simply because you have undergone proper training and at the same time acquired a recognised award.
You will be ready to fit into an executive post leading you to the right path to corporate success.
The course will also have laid a very strong foundation for you to tackle the higher levels of business and management studies.
This route is surely better than the twinning degree arrangement. It is not expensive and it does not require you to spend any time at the overseas university.
Being a vocational course, it is also better than the other theoretical courses.
This Diploma will no doubt lead you to many rewarding career opportunities.
